Tony is one of four Directors of Gardiner Hall & Co. after merging his practice with his business partner Mark in April 2012. Tony has over 30 years of experience in Public Accounting, in particular small to medium accounting and tax clients. Tony is a Registered Company Auditor, a Registered Auditor of Self Manager Superannuation Funds and deals personally with a majority of the Gardiner Hall & Co SMSF clients.

Chamalie Karunaratne

Chamalie commenced working with the firm in 2008.She has over 20 years’ experience working in public practice, commerce and industry, and not for profit organisations, including working for the “BIG 4 firms” and Listed Companies. Chamalie specialises in Tax, Financial Reporting, auditing, preparation of income tax returns and financial reports, tax planning and business advice for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Individuals, Self-Managed Superannuation Funds and Not-for-Profit Organisations.

Alyce Smith

Alyce joined our Broken Hill Office in 2015 with a Bookkeeping and Administration background. Alyce is currently studying a Bachelor of Accounting/Financial Planning through the Charles Sturt University. Alyce Specialises in Individual and Business Taxation, servicing various clients ranging from graziers to small and large businesses. She is currently able to assist clients in GST matters, provision of Financial Statements for Business clients and all other ATO compliance matters, including super stream. Alyce also has experience in the auditing of Not-for-Profit organisations.

Renae Haskard


Renae has over 10 years of experience in public practice accounting working with small business in a range of different industries within Broken Hill and surrounding areas. Her experience & passion in the local community brings a wealth of knowledge & understanding of the industries and family run businesses within the region.

Renae specialises in Tax, Financial Reporting, Business Advisory & Tax planning strategies for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Individuals and Non-for-Profit Organisations. With over 30 years of experience, Stefano’s expertise extends across providing accountancy, business and taxation services for small business, self-managed superannuation funds and individuals. As a tax specialist, Stefano advises in the areas of income tax, capital gains, goods and services tax, fringe benefits and ATO support.
